About Me
I think I have been drawing since I can remember. I got into it because my sisters were also drawing. So, just like any other little sibling, I wanted to do what my big sisters were doing. But I think it was really when I hit middle school when I started to really get into it and where I moved past drawing animals and stick figures. I met a few people that encouraged me or inspired me and I started to draw pretty much all the time.
It was also around that time that anime started getting popular (or that I noticed it enough to try drawing it) And so I hopped on the bandwagon and haven't looked back since. In High School I was really into comics of all sorts too and since my school had every student do a senior project I decided to make one. My Art teacher suggested I go to this little whole in the wall art studio across the street from the school for the part of the project where I had to like intern or something. The guy teaching there, Billy, was really cool and I think he helped me with my drawing a ton. I even dabled a little in other artistic mediums. Like paint and coloring in photoshop. I watched all sorts of different cartoons, read all sorts of comics. I took the techniques and styles I saw and liked of each, and created my own style. And I'm not bragging when I say think I'm pretty good. But of course I still have A LOT to learn.
I still draw different animals and plants that I see around me. And they look pretty good too, but that doesn't really suprise me since those where my artistic first loves (so-to-speak). Recently I have been experimenting with Prisma markers and colored pencils and I am also very tempted to try my hand at watercolors.
As of now that is a little bit about my artistic history. A bit about me personally, I am the third of four children raised by my single mother. A womderful woman who has been there for me no matter what and deserves every type of praise in the world. My friends are just as awesome. I enjoy music, reading, a little bit of gardening, and baking. I've had a pretty good singing voice for longer than I have been drawing and I also write stories.
Right now I'm a student at a community college struggling to figure out how to do this thing they call life. I don't drink, I don't smoke, or have ever done drugs or been adicted to anything more troublesome than cheezit's or sugar. I'f you're nice to me I'll be nice to you. Well, most likely I'll give you the benefit of the doubt.
So that's me.
